FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU Horned Frog baseball team opens up a six-game home stand Friday night when they play host to Utah in the opener of a three-game series. The Frogs enter the contest tied atop the conference standings with New Mexico with a 13-5 mark in league play. Game time for the series opener is set for 6:30 p.m. at Lupton Stadium. Game two on Saturday starts at 2 p.m. with the series finale slated for a a 1 p.m. start on Sunday.
TCU NOTABLES
TCU finished the month of April with a 16-4 mark after splitting the first two games of this week.
TCU dropped a tightly contested match to No. 5 Texas A&M on Tuesday and rebounded with a 5-2 win over UT-Arlington Wednesday.
The Frogs are tied atop the standings with New Mexico and have two games in hand over the Lobos.
TCU is 11-1 in its last four conference series, with three sweeps.
LUPTON STADIUM NOTES
The Frogs own a record of 128-47 in the five-year history of the stadium.
The Frogs set a single-game attendance record Tuesday night against Texas A&M. A record 4,294 fans watched the game.

UTAH NOTABLES
After losing six straight, the Utes have bounced back, winning three of their last four.
They are at 5-9 in league play with series wins over Air Force and UNLV.
Utah is winless on the road in conference play, getting swept at San Diego State and UNLV.
They have struggled defensively, fielding only .951 as a team with 69 errors.
Their strength lies in the offense as they are hitting .314 as a team.

TCU and Utah will be meeting for the 17th time on Friday night.
