FORT WORTH - TCU will travel to Boulder, Colo., Sunday, March 30, to take on Colorado at 3 p.m. CST in the quarterfinal round of the Women's NIT, tournament officials announced Thursday evening. The winner will advance to the semifinal round to take on the winner of Marquette-Kentucky during the period of April 2-3.

The Lady Frogs qualified for the round of eight with an 81-74 road victory over Texas Tech Wednesday evening. Colorado completed the pairing by defeating Villanova, 64-58, Thursday evening in Boulder.

Sunday's matchup will mark TCU's fourth contest this season, and second straight game, against an opponent from the Big 12 Conference. In addition to their victory over Texas Tech, the Frogs downed then-No. 20 Oklahoma State, 97-63, on Dec. 18 in Fort Worth. TCU previously dropped a 68-58 home decision to then No. 13 Texas A&M on Dec. 2.

TCU and CU have met twice previously, in 1993 and 1995, and the Buffaloes won both contests.

The matchup between the Frogs and Buffs will be broadcast live over the radio waves in the Metroplex on 88.7 KTCU. A live audio stream can be accessed by visiting www.gofrogs.com.
