Fresno, Calif. - After a three-month break, TCU returned to action Saturday with a 7-5 win over Tennessee-Martin. With the win, the Frogs will advance in the winner's bracket to face Fresno State for the tournament championship Sunday.

TCU received a strong performance from both their English and Western teams, as both earned victories on their way to the overall team victory. The English team tied Tennessee-Martin 3-3, after Equitation over Fences and Equitation on the Flat, but won the tiebreaker 323-310.

Individually, Caitlin Sewell earned MVP honors in Equitation on the Flat with a score of 69. Carrie von Uhlit competed for the first time this season in Equitation over Fences and scored an 82, to earn a point for the Frogs.

On the Western side, TCU improved to 8-0 on the season with a 4-2 win, winning both Horsemanship and Reining 2-1.

Kindel Huffman, who competed in all four events, earned MVP honors in the Reining with a score of 75.5. It was her sixth MVP of the season, and her first in the Reining. It also marked the first time this season she had competed in the event, and thus became the first Frog to compete in all four events this season.

The Frogs will wrap up competition tomorrow in Fresno with a preview of next week's home match against the Bulldogs.
