FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU women's tennis team garnered a No. 20 national ranking in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) poll released on Tuesday. The ranking marked the seventh consecutive week that the Horned Frogs appeared among the nation's top-25 teams.

The Frogs recorded dominating wins over three ranked Mountain West Conference opponents last weekend to win the outright MWC regular season title. TCU has won 11 consecutive contests for an 18-4 overall record, and went 8-0 in league play.

TCU sophomore Nina Munch-Soegaard jumped eight spots to No. 55 nationally in singles play. The ranking is the highest for Munch-Soegaard in her collegiate career. The Amarillo, Texas, native has posted a 14-7 record at the top position, including five wins over ranked opponents.

Junior Anna Sydorska also remained among the top-100 singles players in the nation, earning a No. 97 ranking. Sydorska went 15-5 overall this season and 7-0 in MWC play.

Sydorska and Macall Harkins were tabbed as the 18th-best doubles duo in the nation in the latest ITA rankings. The Frog tandem has posted a 13-5 record at the top position, including four wins over ranked opponents.

The Frogs will return to action on April 24 at the MWC Championships on the campus of TCU.
