FORT WORTH, Texas - The No. 26 TCU women's tennis team will face No. 40 Tulsa in the opening round of the NCAA Regionals in Waco, Texas, on May 9 at 3 p.m. CDT. The Horned Frogs will make their fifth consecutive NCAA appearance and 11th overall in school history.

The Horned Frogs earned a No. 2 seed in the Waco Regional, joining No. 1 Baylor (28-2), No. 3 Tulsa (21-5) and No. 4 Oral Roberts (11-10).

TCU posted a 20-5 overall record this year and claimed the Mountain West Conference regular season title with a perfect 8-0 record. The Horned Frogs reached the finals of the MWC Tournament Championship before UNLV halted TCU's 13-match winning streak.

The top four players in the singles lineup earned All-MWC recognition, including Macall Harkins, Nina Munch-Soegaard, Anna Sydorska and Katariina Tuohimaa. The doubles tandems of Harkins and Sydorska and Tuohimaa and Idunn Hertzberg also earned conference accolades. Jefferson Hammond was named the MWC Coach of the Year for his efforts in leading the Frogs to an outright regular season conference championship.
