FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU women's tennis team will make their fifth consecutive appearance in the NCAA Tournament on Friday at 3 p.m. against No. 40 Tulsa in Waco, Texas. The Horned Frogs, ranked No. 26 nationally, secured a No. 2 seed for the Waco Regional.

TCU earned its 11th overall trip to the tournament after posting a 20-5 overall record, which included 12 wins against ranked teams. The Frogs went a perfect 8-0 in regular season Mountain West Conference play to capture the title outright, and have won 15 of their last 17 contests.

TCU led the league in all-conference selections, as Macall Harkins, Nina Munch-Soegaard, Anna Sydorska and Katariina Tuohimaa all earned singles recognition. The duos of Harkins and Sydorska and Tuohimaa and Idunn Hertzberg were named to the All-MWC Doubles Team, while Jefferson Hammond was named the MWC Coach of the Year.

Tulsa will enter Friday's match with a 21-5 overall record, having won eight consecutive contests. The Golden Hurricane defeated No. 49 Marshall to claim the Conference USA Championship. Tulsa is led by freshman Alexandra Kichoutkin, who is ranked No. 98 in singles play after posting a 23-2 spring record.

TCU will look for their fourth straight victory over Tulsa dating back to the 2004 season. The Frogs hold a commanding 13-2 advantage over the Golden Hurricane that dates back to 1992.
