FORT WORTH, Texas - Head Coach Prentice Lewis has announced that Kylie Pont has agreed to walk-on to the team this fall. The Omaha, Neb. native will be a freshman on the squad. She joins four other incoming freshman that signed National Letter's of Intent in November.

"It is great to have Kylie in our program," said Lewis. "She has played at a very high club level and we know she will be a great fit at TCU. She plays on the right side for a club team that has already qualified for Nationals, so she knows what it takes to take her team to the next level."

Pont was a three-year letterwinner at Millard North High School. She earned all-mettro honors and honorable mention all-state accolades as a junior and senior under the tutelage of Head Coach Dave Cook.

As well as exceeding on the court, Pont got the job done in the classroom, earning numerous academic accolades. In both her junior and senior years, she earned academic all-state honors. She was also tabbed the Greater Omaha Area Scholar Athlete of the Year. Her academic achievements have earned her a Dean's Academic Schloarship at TCU.
