PHILADELPHIA - The Temple football team returned to Edberg-Olson Hall on Tuesday for its fourth spring practice session.

Practicing on the sunny and warm afternoon, the players also returned to jersey and shorts for their final non-padded practice.

Following each day of spring practice, the coaching staff awards a "Player of the Day" for the offense, defense, and special teams. Today's honorees were FB Lamar McPherson (offense), LB Alex Joseph (defense), and DB Daryl Robinson (special teams).

Temple's next practice is Thursday, March 27.

Temple opens the 2008 season at Army on Friday, August 29. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. before a national television audience on ESPNU or ESPN Classic. The Owls host Connecticut on Sept. 6 at Lincoln Financial Field in their home opener.
