Hoffman got TU on the second half board at 2:41, after taking a pass from Hillary Richards, making the score 9-6 in favor of TU. UC Davis' Christina Corso stopped the two goal run for Temple with a tally at 6:59 but the Owls responded with yet another two goal run to take an 11-7 lead with just under 10 minutes to play. Davis outscored Temple, 2-1 over the final 10 minutes of the game but it was too little, too late, as the Owls rolled to their second straight win, 12-9.
