LUBBOCK, Texas - The second day of the Texas Relays brought a new school record and three NCAA regional marks for Texas Tech.

Ozie Okolie for the second week in a row set a new school record and personal best in the hammer throw. She won the women's hammer throw with a NCAA regional mark of 207'-03".

The Red Raider 400M hurdlers had three qualify for Saturday's finals. Sandra Iwunze ran the fastest qualifying time with a 58.82. The time is a NCAA regional mark and her personal best. Jansen Hyde and Wouter Le Roux both qualified for finals with NCAA regional marks. Hansen was the sixth qualifier with a time of 51.91 and Le Roux was the eighth qualifier with a time of 52.06.

Julianne Kennedy was fourth in the heptathlon to start the day, but suffered an injury during the javelin and was unable to finish the competition.
