Laredo, Texas - The Texas State Men's golf team will travel to Laredo, Texas to play in the Border Olympics at the Laredo Country Club on Friday-Saturday, Mar. 14-15. The Bobcats will compete in the 11-team tournament that will be played on a 7,125-yard, par-72 course.

The other teams in the tournament include Houston, Arkansas, Baylor, Lamar, UL-Lafayette, New Mexico State, North Texas, Rice, USC-Aiken, Texas State, Texas-Arlington, UTEP, Washington St. and Wyoming.

Lamar is the defending champion at the tournament after the Cardinals led the rest of the field by 19 strokes.

The Bobcats will be looking to improve on last week's 11th-place tied at the Louisiana Classics. Corey Roberson shot a 6-over-par score of 228 during the tournament to lead Texas State.
