San Marcos, Texas - Tickets to the 2008 Southland Conference Men's and Women's Basketball Tournament are now on sale at the Texas State University ticket office. The tournament, which will be held on March 12-16 at the Merrell Center in Katy, Texas, features the top eight men's and women's teams during the regular season.

Reserved ticket packages for all 14 games range from $18 for individual two-game sessions to $75 for all 14 games.

The tournament opens with four women's quarterfinal games on Wednesday, March 12, with the men's quarterfinals being played on March 13. The men's and women's tournament champions advance to the NCAA Men's and Women's Tournaments.

The women's championship game will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 15 and televised by Fox Sports Net, and the men's title game will be played at noon on Sunday, March 16 and televised by ESPN2.

Each institution has an allotment of tournament tickets in its reserved courtside seating section during the event.

Texas State's Ticket Office is located inside the Darren Casey Athletic Administration Complex on the corner of Aquarena Springs Drive and Charles Austin Drive. The Ticket Office is open during normal business hours, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday.

Daily reserved and general admission tickets for afternoon and evening sessions will be available later when tournament seeding is known.
