Hot Springs, Ark. - - The Texas State women's golf team registered a fourth-place finish at the University of Arkansas-Little Rock Golf Classic after the Bobcats finished the tournament with a team score of 918.

Texas State fired a 309 as a team in the third round on the par-72, 5,971-yard course at the Diamonte Country Club. It marks the fourth time this season and second straight tournament in which the Bobcats have placed among the Top Five teams.

The Bobcats were paced by Linn Gustafsson, who tied for fourth place in the individual standings with a three-round score of 224. Gustafsson shot a 4-over-par 76 in the third and final round.

Sehee Kim tied for 19th place at the tournament after she shot an 8-over-par 80 in the third round and finished the tournament with a score of 231. Trine Mortensen finished in a tie for 23rd place after shooing 9-over in the third and final round to finish the tournament with a three-round score of 232. Caitlin Bliss had Texas State's second-best score in the third round with a 7-over-par 79 and finished the tournament tied for 32nd place with a 236 through 54 holes. Adin Stromgren also finished the tournament with a three-round total of 249.

Christy Carter of Oral Roberts was the individual medalist after she won a playoff with Paula Hurtado of Florida International. They both finished the tournament with a 1-over-par score of 217. Nicole Forshner finished in third place with a 6-over-par score of 222, while Gustafsson tied Sara Wikstrom of Arkansas-Little Rock and Kelly Fuchik of Tulsa for fourth place with a score of 224.

Tulsa won the team championship with a team total of 912. Florida International finished in second place with a 913 score, while Arkansas-Little Rock finished in third place with a score of 918, and Texas State finished in fourth place with a team score of 923. Central Arkansas rounded out the Top Five teams with a score of 926.
