Alisha Misiata Finishes Third in Shot Put at Husky Classic

UCI sophomore records mark of 48-2 3/4

SEATTLE, Wash. --- UC Irvine sophomore Alisha Misiata placed third in the shot put with a mark of 48-2 ¾ Saturday in the Husky Indoor Track & Field Classic at Dempsey Indoor Stadium in Seattle.

Misiata finished 20th in the weight throw with a toss of 49-9 ¼.

UCI's Natasha Wardley placed 15th in the long jump with a mark of 17-11.
