UC Irvine's Second-Day Results from Mt. SAC Relays

Williams, Dickerson have career bests in 100

WALNUT, Calif. --- UC Irvine junior Sharitie Williams won her section of the 100 meters with a career-best time of 12.21 Friday at the Mt. SAC Relays in Walnut.

Senior Nicole Dickerson also recorded a career-best of 12.23 in placing fourth in her section of the 100.

Kevin Palmer won his section of the 110-meter hurdles in 15.29 while in the 100 meters, Joe Pearson was second (10.91) and Mark Ilarina fourth (11.03) in their section.

Oliver Plattner placed third in his section of the 200 meters with a time of 21.77, which was eighth of 16 runners overall.

Tim Murphy was third in his section of the 800 meters in 1:52.62, which was ninth of 24 overall.

Sky Johnston finished ninth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 9:05.87.

The UCI track and field teams will have competitors in Saturday's Beach Invitational at Cerritos College with the collegiate competition at Mt. SAC returning for one more day on Sunday.
