REGULAR-SEASON FINALE: UC Irvine ends its regular-season schedule Saturday night facing cross-county rival Cal State Fullerton in the Bren Center.

The Titans represent the last team with a chance to tarnish the Anteaters' unblemished record on campus this season.

UCI's 12-0 on-campus record includes a Nov. 9 win over Loyola Marymount at Crawford Court. The Anteaters, 11-0 in the Bren Center this year, have one "home" loss, a 77-68 setback to Nevada Nov. 13 at the Anaheim Convention Center when the new Bren Center floor was being installed.

The Anteaters are 8-3 since losing at Pacific Jan. 19. The Anteaters have won six of their last seven games, including 79-62 over UC Davis Thursday night. Senior forward Patrick Sanders led the way with 18 points as all five UCI starters scored in double figures. Senior center Darren Fells, who scored 11 points, recorded five assists for the fourth straight contest. Junior forward Kevin Bland had seven rebounds, four steals and three assists off the bench.

UCI has secured the No. 5 seed for next week's Big West Conference Tournament at the Anaheim Convention Center. The Anteaters will face the eighth seed Wednesday night at 6:00 in a first-round game.

SENIOR NIGHT SATURDAY: Saturday night marks the final home games for UCI seniors Darren Fells, Marcus McIntosh and Patrick Sanders. They will be recognized in a pre-game ceremony.

ALSO BASKETBALL EXTRAVAGANZA: Saturday night is the annual "Basketball Extravaganza" at the Bren Center. Some of Orange County's top CEOs, who are members of the University's Chief Executive Roundtable, will have a halftime free-throw shooting contest to raise scholarship dollars for UCI Athletics.

BIG WEST TOURNAMENT TICKETS AVAILABLE AT UCI: Big West Conference Tournament tickets are available for purchase through the UCI Athletics Ticket Office (949-824-6202). The tournament runs next Wednesday through Saturday (Mar. 12-15) at the Anaheim Convention Center.
