STELLER TIES ACE MATCH RECORD: Junior Jon Steller recorded six aces in the first match with the Buckeyes, tying the top spot in the UCI match record book with Matt Webber (2004), Mike Rupp (1999) and Jarrett Jensen who recorded six aces on two occasions in 2002. The opposite fired four of his career-high six aces in game three. As a team, UCI recorded 15 aces over two matches with ANTEATERS GO 1-1 LAST WEEK: UCI split a pair of matches with No.10 Ohio State at home last week. UCI defeated the Buckeyes 3-0 in the first match taking game three, 30-13, the largest margin of victory by an MPSF team this year. BALLS WON'T HIT THE FLOOR: Junior Brent Asuka leads the MPSF in dig average with a 3.22 mark. He also ranks fourth nationally with a 2.92 average. Friday's match will feature two of the best liberos in the country as UCLA's Tony Ker is second in the country in digs with a 3.42 average overall.
