UC Irvine Women's Golf Finishes Fifth At Fresno State Invitational
Chawalitmetha leads UCI with 13th place finish

Fresno, Calif. -- UC Irvine finished fifth at the 16-team Kitahara Fresno State Invitational at the Copper River Country Club Tuesday.
The Anteaters shot a 36-hole total of 603 (304-299) to finish in fifth, 13 shots shy of Tulsa who won the event with a score of 590 (299-291). UC Davis was second (593), Kansas was third (596) and San Francisco was fourth (597). Fresno State's Taylor Siebert won medalist honors with a score of 144 (73-71).
Sophomore Patty Chawalitmetha shot a 73 Tuesday to move up into 13th place to lead UCI with a score of 149 (76-73) over 36 holes. Senior Selaneé Henderson was 20th after carding a 150 (73-77), while Hillary Packard was 29th with a 151 total (77-74). Senior Kim Lorenzana was 34th with a score of 153 (78-75) and sophomore Henna Cho was 76th with a two-day total of 164 (84-89).
The Anteaters return to action traveling to the Spartan Invitational next Monday and Tuesday Mar. 3-4) at the Almaden Country Club.
