Becky Bernhard Wins Third Straight Big West Player of the Week Honor

Bernhard wins 12th career Player of the Week honor

IRVINE, Calif. - Senior Becky Bernhard (Roseville/Oakmont HS) was named the Big West Player of the Week Wednesday.

Bernhard went 2-0 in singles on the week including a win over No. 77 Sylvia Kosakowski of Pepperdine.

This is Bernhard's third straight Big West Player of the Week honor and is also her third this season. She has won the award a Big West women's tennis record 12 times in her career. She has won more Player of the Week honors than any athlete at UCI in Big West sports.

Bernhard and the Anteaters will next play in the Big West Conference quarterfinals Friday, April 25th against Pacific at 9:00 a.m. at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden.
