NO. 11 UC DAVIS UPSETS NO. 7 SAN JOSE STATE 7-6

IRVINE, Calif. - No. 11 UC Davis beat No. 7 San Jose State 7-6 Sunday at the UC Irvine Women's Water Polo Invitational at Anteater Aquatics Complex.

UC Davis entered the fourth period with a 6-1 lead. The Spartans fought back, outscoring the Aggies 5-1 in the final period, but were unable to make up the five goal deficit. Laura Uribe led all scorers with three goals for the Aggies.

UC Davis will now play Hawaii in the 5th place match at 2:45 p.m. and San Jose State will play Loyola Marymount in the 7th place match at 1:30 p.m. at Anteater Aquatics Complex.
