The Peacocks' weekend series with the Cougars of Southern Illinois-Edwardsville, which had been moved south to an all-turf field, has been cancelled. The teams will scrap the three game series due to the weather predicted for Marion, Illinois and the damage weather has caused to the field at Rent One Park. The games will not be made up.

The team will now wait to take the diamond again in Warrensburg, Missouri at the Holiday Inn Express Classic hosted by Central Missouri. The Peacocks will face the host Mules on Friday, Feb. 29. Upper Iowa will take on the Ichabods of Washburn on Saturday, Mar. 1, and the Hornets of Emporia State on Sunday, Mar. 2. The first pitch for all three games is set for 11 a.m. and all three games will be nine inning affairs.
