Peacocks to Open Weekend Series in Warrensburg, Missouri

Upper Iowa to Play Central Missouri on Friday and Saturday; Emporia State on Sunday

The Peacocks will travel to Warrensburg, Missouri to resume their 2008 season after a three week hiatus that was forced by the Midwest weather. Even this weekend's series has been affected. The Peacocks were originally scheduled to play Central Missouri, Washburn, and Emporia State at Central Missouri this weekend.

Now, UIU will take the field against Central Missouri twice in Warrensburg on Friday and Saturday and then travel to Emporia, Kansas to face Emporia State on Sunday.

Should weather affect play on Friday, then the Peacocks and Mules will face off in a double header (7/9) on Saturday.
