Upper Iowa Head Baseball Coach Mark Danker has announced that the four game series between the Peacocks and the Fighting Sioux of North Dakota has been cancelled. The Peacocks season continues to be affected by the winter that has not loosened its grip on the Midwest. The series was going to be Upper Iowa's home opening action of the 2008 season.

The Peacock baseball team will now travel to Wayne, Nebraska to face perennial NSIC baseball power Wayne State in a four game set on March 29 and 30. The Saturday double header will begin at 1 p.m. and the Sunday double header will begin at 12 p.m.
