The Northern Sun Conference has named their Baseball All-Conference Teams and four Peacocks have earned the honor. Nick Fjelland, of Alleman, Iowa, was the lone Peacocks from the second place team to be named to the NSIC All-Conference First Team. Kreston Albright, of Snohomish, Wash., Brian Solemsaas, of Bismarck, N.D., and Lucas Wilsing, of Sheboygan, Wisc., were all named to the NSIC All-Conference Second Team.

Nick Fjelland, the Peacocks' golden glove on the hot corner, was named to the first team after dominating NSIC pitching all season. Fjelland hit .398 in 32 conference games. He picked up 39 hits in his 98 at bats including an NSIC record 16 doubles. Fjelland had a slugging percentage of .653 and hit three homeruns while driving in 23 and scoring 33 runs. The senior also took a run at the NSIC single season stolen base record, but fell just one steal shy as he was 16-18 in the season. The Alleman-native combined his hits with 21 walks for a .508 on-base percentage. Fjelland was very good in the field as well; he only committed 4 errors in 80 chances for a .950 fielding percentage. Fjelland also got on the mound once in an NSIC game starting and winning a game against Minnesota, Crookston while striking out 7.

Kreston Albright, Upper Iowa's centerfielder, was named to the second team after finishing the conference with a .533 batting average in the final weekend series against U-Mary. Albright hit .343 in 28 NSIC games. He tallied 34 hits in 99 at bats including 8 doubles, a triple, and 2 homeruns. He drove in 17 base runners and scored 26 runs; the junior also stole 9 bases in 10 attempts.

Brian Solemsaas, the Peacocks' leader in wins on the mound, was named to the second team by going 5-1 in seven NSIC starts, six of which were complete games. Solemsaas accounted for two shutouts versus Minnesota, Crookston and Southwest Minnesota State. The junior had an ERA of 3.95 during the conference season while throwing 43.1 innings and allowing 19 earned runs while striking out 30 batters.

Lucas Wilsing, Upper Iowa's designated hitter and starting pitcher, was named to the second team for his work in a dual role for the Peacocks. Wilsing hit .279 in 30 games as he rapped out 24 hits in 86 at bats. The designated hitter had 8 doubles and 3 homeruns while driving in 22 runs and scoring 20. On the mound, the Sheboygan-native was 2-0 in four conference stats with a 3.32 ERA. Wilsing struck out 19 and held opponents to a .236 batting average.

The Peacocks finished the regular season with a 29-24 record overall and a 24-8 mark, good for second place, in their second season in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference. Upper Iowa finished the Northern Sun Conference regular season tied with Wayne State for the most wins with 24, but had two more losses than the Wildcats.
