Greensboro, N.C. - Senior Megan Kaltenbach was recently named the Women's ACC Cross Country Performer of the Week for her individual performance at the Mountaineer Open on Friday. Kaltenbach is the first Tar Heel to earn the award in 2007 as she took home the top spot in the Mountaineer Open.

With her first place finish, Kaltenbach led five teammates in the top 10 as the Tar Heels captured this past weekend's Mountaineer Open team title. An All-ACC selection a year ago, the Aurora, Colo., senior finished the 5K race with a time of 17:59.55 - 30 seconds better than the nearest competitor.
