NEW YORK, N.Y. - Seven players from the University of North Carolina's ACC regular-season and tournament champion women's soccer squad were honored Friday with All-Southeast Region Awards from Soccer Buzz magazine. UNC had four players named All-Southeast Region first-team, more than any other school.

Sophomore forward Casey Nogueira, junior midfielder Yael Averbuch, sophomore midfielder Tobin Heath and senior defender Jessica Maxwell were named to the first team.

Sophomore forward Nikki Washington was named to the second team and senior defender Ariel Harris was tapped for the third team.

Midfielder Meghan Klingenberg was named All-Freshman Southeast Region by Soccer Buzz.
