Recorded his first collegiate hit - a double - at Troy on Feb. 23... Tallied two hits, two runs and two RBI in an 18-2 win over UMES on March 2... Went 3-for-4 with a run and an RBI in URI's 8-0 blanking of Central Connecticut on March 7... Had two hits and an RBI at Navy on March 8... Hit a double and recorded two RBI at East Carolina on March 14... Had a hit, a run and two RBI at Radford on March 17... Hit his first home run of the season and picked up two RBI against William and Mary on March 18.

Was a member of the baseball teams at football Notre Dame Catholic High School and Mercersburg Academy... Also competed in track... Captained his baseball and football teams... Received the baseball MVP Award his senior season at Notre Dame and was a two-time All-Conference and All-Area selection... Also earned All-Conference and All-Area honors at Mercersburg while helping lead his team to the 2007 Pennsylvania Independent Schools State Championship... Was a two-time All-Conference, All-Area and All-State selection in football at Notre Dame and earned All-Conference and All-Area football honors at Mercersburg.
