Rams Football Club in conjunction with the University of Rhode Island men's soccer program announces the launch of the Rams FC Technical Training Academy. The six-week soccer training sessions are open all youth soccer players in Rhode Island and Southeastern Connecticut. The sessions are for players in grades pre-kindergarten through high school each Tuesday night from January 25th - March 9th in Keaney Gymnasium on the campus of the University of Rhode Island in Kingston.

Participants will receive instruction from University of Rhode Island coaches John O'Connor and Assistant Coach Rob Czlonka and Mitch Stone as well as members of the 2010 URI men's soccer team. Sessions are designed to maximize touches on the ball by focusing on technical training including dribbling, ball control and 1 v 1 skills. It's a great chance for any player to get that little extra training that could make the difference in their club season.

Each soccer player should bring with them to every session: their own size appropriate soccer ball, water for breaks and clean/dry shoes for use on the basketball court. ALL proceeds going to support the URI Men's Soccer program.

Sessions run Tuesdays, January 26 - March 9:
Level I (Pre-K to 2nd grade): 6:00 pm-6:45 pm
Level II (3rd grade to 12th grade): 7:00 pm-8:00 pm

Where:
Keaney Gymnasium - University of Rhode Island - Kingston, RI

Cost:
Level I (Pre-K to 2nd grade): $60.00
Level II (3rd grade to 12th grade): $70.00

To register email Coach Rob Czlonka, URI Assistant Men's Soccer Coach & Director of Coaching for Rams FC at ramsfc@gmail.com to reserve a spot. Registration will also be available on site the first two nights during check-in on a first come first serve basis as space permits. Each group session will be limited to the first 40 field players and 10 goalkeepers so it is strongly encouraged that family's register early.
