Lo Presti and Warwick Selected to Play in NEISL All-Star Game

KINGSTON, R.I. - Rhode Island men's soccer senior co-captains Franco Lo Presti and Peyton Warwick have been selected to participate in the 2011 New England Intercollegiate Soccer League (NEISL) Senior All-Star game. The game - which matches Division I players against D-II All-Stars - will be played on Sunday, November 27 at Harvard University in Cambridge, Mass. A left back and two-year starter for the Rams, Lo Presti recorded his first career goal in Rhode Island's season opener at New Hampshire and went on to net the game-winner in the Rams' season finale at UMass. In between, he also earned All-Tournament recognition at the Ocean State Soccer Classic. Warwick, meanwhile, recorded 165 career saves as two-year starter and collected nine wins along the way - four of which were shutout victories. He, too, was named to the OSSC All-Tournament team after posting a shutout against Bryant and making a career-high 10 saves against Providence. Joining Lo Presti and Warwick on the NEISL Division I team are goalkeepers Alex Fait (Sacred Heart) and Jhojan Obando (Providence); Defenders John Raley (Providence), Nick Blake (UConn), Baba Omosegbon (Harvard), Andrew Henshaw (UMass), Jack Cleverly (Fairfield) and Jorge Rodriguez (Hartford); Midfielders Toni Cascio (UConn), Daniel Fabian (Providence), Yannick Lewis (Vermont), Evan Coleman (Brown), Taylor Gorman (Brown) Ben Tsuda (Harvard) and Pat Boucher (Hartford); and Forwards Sean Rosa (Brown), TJ Popolizio (Brown), Juan Peralta (Vermont), Jack Burridge (Harvard), Eduardo Ortiz (Central Connecticut) Bryan Craft (UMass) and Nick Parisi (Bryant).
