Rhode Island Hosts Dayton, Xavier in A-10 Women's Soccer Action

KINGSTON, R.I. -- The University of Rhode Island women's soccer team opens up a three-game homestand - and an Atlantic 10 weekend of action - tonight when it hosts Dayton. Kickoff time at the URI Soccer Complex is set for 7 p.m.

On Sunday, Oct. 11, Rhody hosts Xavier in Kingston. Kickoff for that contest is set for 1 p.m.

Rhode Island (4-8-1, 0-4 A-10) is coming off a 1-0 loss in its last outing - at George Washington on Oct. 5. Jackie Fede made five saves in goal for the Rams, who are currently on a four-game slide.

Dayton comes to URI with an unbeaten mark in the league. The Flyers are 8-3-1 overall and 2-0-1 in A-10 action. In its last outing, UD downed Xavier, 3-0. It marked the team's fourth shutout victory of the year.

Xavier enters the weekend of play with a 1-9-1 overall record, including an 0-2-1 mark in league play. In their last game, the Musketeers took a 3-0 loss at the hands of Dayton. XU is currently on a three-game losing streak.
