    THIS YEAR: Senior David Branch figures to be one of USC's top 800m and 1500m runners. He has run the third-fastest time in both events among the returning Trojans. Had a strong Fall running as a captain for the Men of Troy cross country club.

    2010: Placed fourth in the 1500m race with a PR of 3:53.85 at the USC-UCLA Dual Meet on May 1. Had a season-best 800m time of 1:54.55 to place second at the Mangrum Invitational hosted by CS San Marcos on April 3.

    2009: Did not compete due to a stress fracture of his left navicular.

    2008: Ran the 800m, 1500m and 3000m during his first season at USC. Had a best 800m time of 1:53.32 to finish fourth at the Ben Brown Invitational on March 8. He ran his best 1500m race at the USC-UCLA Dual Meet on May 3 with a time of 3:54.77, good for sixth. Had a time of 9:13.81 in the 3000m race at the Rossi Relays hosted by Claremont-Mudd Scripps College on Feb. 23.

    HIGH SCHOOL: Branch prepped at Woodcrest Christian.

    PERSONAL: Branch was born on April 4, 1989....He is a Policy, Planning and Development major at USC...His interests are the Greek community and faith-based groups...Says his favorite comedian is teammate Andreas Bezamat-Homer.
