    THIS YEAR: Senior Trey Henderson improved over 11 feet last season when he focused exclusively on track and field instead of splitting his time with the football team. Earned All-America honors in the hammer and won the Pac-10 title in the event.

    2010: Earned All-America honors in the hammer by placing fifth at the NCAA Championships in Eugene, Ore. with a throw of 219-5 (66.89m). Won the Pac-10 Championships in Berkeley, Calif. with a throw of 219-9 (66.99m). Won the hammer competition at the USC-UCLA Dual Meet on May 1 with a PR of 221-10 (67.63m), which ranks seventh on USC's all-time list. Earned a bronze medal in the hammer for Canada with a throw of 217-5 at the U23 NACAC Championships in July.

    2009: Had a then college-weight best hammer throw of 210-4 (64.12m) to win at the Fullerton Invitational on March 7. Took second in the hammer at the USC-UCLA Dual Meet with a throw of 200-10 (61.21m). Placed fifth at the Pac-10 Championships with a throw of 204-3 (62.26m). Came in 10th at the NCAA West Regional in the hammer with a throw of 201-5 (61.39m), just missing advancing to the final round. Had a best throw of 195-7 (59.61m) at the NCAA Championships and did not advance to the final round.

    2008: Had the top hammer throw by a Trojan in 2008 with a mark of 196-3 (59.82m) on May 31 at the West Regional, good for 13th Placed 10th at the Pac-10 Championships in the hammer with a throw of 189-5 (57.73m), six inches short of qualifying for the finals. Took second in the hammer at the Dual Meet with a throw of 194-11 (54.41m).

    USC FOOTBALL: Redshirted as a freshman defensive end on the USC football team in 2007 after tearing the meniscus in his right knee in the summer which required surgery. Did not see action in 2008 after re-injuring his right knee in fall camp. He is believed to be the first Canadian to play football at USC.

    HIGH SCHOOL: Henderson prepped at Vancouver College HS where he competed in track, football and basketball. Set the Canadian youth record in the hammer with a throw of 221-0 (67.36m) and was the 2005 BC Junior champion, BC Juvenile champion and Canadian Junior silver medalist...Didn't start throwing the hammer until 2003.

    PERSONAL: Trey was born on Oct. 10, 1989...His given first name is Nolan.
