    THIS YEAR: Senior All-American Oscar Spurlock is coming off another outstanding season and will take aim this season on the school record. Spurlock ranks seventh all-time by a Trojan in the 110m HH with a time of 13.56.

    2010: Spurlock ran his best races at the right time, finishing fourth at the NCAA Championships in the 110m HH with a season-best time of 13.58 on June 12 in Eugene, Ore. His finish was the highest by a Trojan since Ryan Wilson won the event with the second-fastest time in school history of 13.35 in 2003. Spurlock placed second at the Pac-10 Championships in the 110m HH with a time of 13.80 on May 16 in Berkely, Calif. Took second in the 110m HH at the USC-UCLA Dual Meet on May 1.

    2009: Had a wind-aided time of 13.51 in the preliminaries of the 110m high hurdles at the Pac-10 Championships on May 16. The next day posted his legal PR of 13.56 to win the title. Placed second in the 110m HH at the NCAA West Regional with a wind-aided time of 13.54 on May 30. Reached the semifinals at the NCAA Championships in the 110m HH, but missed out by .01 seconds of advancing to the finals with a time of 13.814.

    2008: Had his season-best 110m HH time of 14.01 and placed fourth at the Dual Meet on May 3. Reached the finals of the sprint hurdles at the Pac-10 Championships and placed sixth with a time of 14.04. Placed 10th at the West Regional in the 110m HH with a time of 14.11, but did not qualify for the finals. In June he placed second in the 110m HH at the U.S. Junior Outdoor Championships with a time of 13.801 to qualify for the U.S. Junior team, but did not make the trip to the World Junior Championships in Poland as he could not get a passport in time. He ran a qualifying time of 13.72 which tied his high school best on the high school-height hurdles.

    HIGH SCHOOL: Spurlock attended David W. Carter High in Dallas, Texas...Posted the seventh-fastest high school senior 110m HH time of 13.72, as well as a wind-aided time of 13.52...He finished fourth in the 110m HH at the 2006 USA Junior Championships...Has a PR of 13.42w in the 110m HH set at the District 5 Championships in the preliminaries and 37.58 in the 300m hurdles...Was named Dallas Sportsday's Newcomer of the Year as a sophomore when he placed third in the state in the 110m HH with a time of 13.98.

    PERSONAL: Oscar was born on Aug. 1, 1989...He is a Psychology, Forensics and Criminality major at USC.
