    Deanna Hill won the women's Invitational 200m with a school-record time and Just'N Thymes had a big personal-best to win in the men's Invitational 200m race to highlight USC's efforts at the Tyson Invitational held at the Randal Tyson Center in Fayetteville, Ark. today (Feb. 11). Also, Robert Ford was first among collegians in the men's 800m race and Mikaela Smith second among collegians with a big PR in the women's 800m race at the Husky Classic held at Dempsey Indoor in Seattle, Wash. today.

    At the Tyson Invitational:

    Deanna Hill set the USC indoor 200m record with a time of 22.74 to win the women's Invitational 200m race. She topped the previous record of 22.77 set by Carol Rodriguez in 2006. Her time also moved her into second on the NCAA descending order list, entering this weekend's action. Kendall Ellis also had a PR of 22.97 to take second in her heat and third overall.

    Just'N Thymes won the men's Invitational 200m race with a PR of 20.47. That time moved him into second on USC's all-time list. Michael Norman had a season-best time of 20.75 to finish second in his heat and fourth overall

    Ky Westbrook had a time of 23.61 to finish fifth in the women's Olympic Development 200m race.

    • In the regular women's 200m races, Cameron Pettigrew finished second with a PR of 23.51, Destinee Brown took fifth with a PR of 23.60, Kyra Constantine was 19th with a time of 24.29 and Kennedy Gillian was 38th with a time of 25.08.

    • In the regular men's 200m races, Zyaire Clemes posted a time of 21.01 to place third and Alexander Barnum had a PR of 21.99 to finish 29th. He is now just .01 seconds outside of USC's top 10 in the event.

    Dominic Smallwood posted a PR of 51-0.25 (15.55m) to place fourth in the men's triple jump. He moved from tied for eighth to all alone in eighth place on USC's all-time indoor list.

    Amalie Iuel cleared 5-8.75 (1.75m) in her first high jump competition to place sixth in the Invitational high jump. She went out at 5-10.75 which would have tied her indoor PR. Alexa Harmon-Thomas cleared 5-5.00 (1.65m) to tie for ninth in the regular high jump competition.

    • The men's 4x400m relay team did not finish as Michael Norman felt a cramp coming out of the blocks and decided to play it safe. The women's team did not run a 4x400m relay.

    At the Husky Classic:

    Mikaela Smith had a big PR of 2:06.60 to finish fifth in the women's 800m race, second among the college runners. Her time moved her from third to second on USC's all-time list. Lorea Ibarzabal had a season-best time of 2:08.82 to finish 17th and move from sixth to fifth on USC's all-time list.

    Robert Ford posted a time of 1:48.30 to finish second in the men's 800m race, best among the college runners in the race.

    Brittany Mann placed second in the women's shot put with a best mark of 52-10.00 (16.10m). Tanya Sapa, in her first competition of the season, placed eighth with a mark of 48-6.75 (14.80m).

    Matthew Katnik placed fourth in the men's shot put with a best mark of 60-5.25 (18.42m), while Nick Ponzio finished seventh with a best shot put of 58-10.00 (17.93m).

    Chloe Berry had a PR of 4:56.67 in the women's one-mile race to place 36th. She also moved from fifth to fourth on USC's all-time list.

    Trent Rule ran 4:16.75 to finish 24th in the men's one-mile race.

    Alex Rohani had a PR of 48.81 to finish third in the men's 400m race.
