Strong Indoor Season Has Both USC Teams Ranked In The Top 20 Nationally

    Tynia Gaither was a 200m indoor All-American in 2014 and looks to earn the honors this season in the 60m and 200m dashes.

    USC finished the 2015 indoor regular season with the women's team ranked No. 10 and the men's team ranked No. 19 according to the latest U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) poll released on March 2. USC has five individual women plus a relay team and three individual men which have qualified for the 2015 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships to be held in Fayetteville, Ark. on March 13-14.

    The athletes who qualified to represent USC at the championships are Andre De Grasse (60m, 200m), Alexis Faulknor (60m), Tynia Gaither (60m, 200m), Dior Hall (60m HH), Deanna Hill (60m), BeeJay Lee (60m), Conor McCullough (WT) and Ky Westbrook (60m). The women who qualified as part of the 4x400m relay team are Kendall Ellis, Amalie Iuel, Vanessa Jones and Jaide Stepter.

    Athletes ranking in the top 16 individually and the top 12 relay teams qualified for the NCAA Indoor Championships, but USC was strong across the board with 19 athletes and two relay teams ranking among the top 30 in the country during the indoor season.
