USC redshirt junior Corey White was named Pac-10 Field Athlete of the Week for March 31-April 6.

White won the javelin competition at the Texas Relays on April 5 with a school-record throw of 256-10. He won the event by more than 21 feet and bettered the USC school record set by Nils Fearnley in 1995 (244-8) by more than 12 feet. His throw was also 14 feet farther than any collegiate javelin throw last season.
