Jessica Onyepunuka was part of the U.S.'s winning 4x100m relay team and Corey White took second in the javelin at the NACAC Under-23 Championships held in Toluca, Mexico from July 18-20.

Onyepunuka ran the leadoff leg for Team USA which posted a winning time of 43.64, .09 seconds better than the second-place Jamaican team. Onyepunuka placed fifth in the women's 100m dash at the 2008 NCAA Championships.

White helped lead USA to a 1-2 finish in the javelin with a throw of 257-7 1/4 (78.52m), good for second place. Chris Hill won the competition with a throw of 264-1 3/4 (80.51m). Hill and White finished 1-2 respectively in the javelin throw at the 2008 NCAA Championships.
