USC Assistant Coach Gabe Alvarez Named One of the Nation's Top 30 Recruiters by D1Baseball

    LOS ANGELES - named the top 30 recruiters in the nation, recently, and USC assistant coach Gabe Alvarez was named 21st nationally, receiving the most first place votes of any Pac-12 coach.

    Alvarez, who enters his seventh season with the Trojans has helped bring in multiple classes ranked in the top 25 nationally. He earned the most first place votes of any coach in the Pac-12, finishing with a total of 11 points. The only Pac-12 assistant ranked higher was Washington's Jason Kelly, who was tied for 19th with just two points more than Alvarez.

    Overall, 124 different head coaches from around the nation voted in the poll, completed by during their annual recruiting class survey.
