    BREAKDOWN: Mike Gerrity, a 6-foot-1, 180-pound redshirt senior point guard will be eligible for competition in the second semester after tranferring to USC from Charlotte. He is a true experienced court general and possesses the ability to distribute the ball to his teammates and play tough defense.

    2008-09: Sat out the season after transferring to USC from Charlotte following the first semester.

    2007-08: Averaged 4.7 points and 3.5 assists in 26 games for Charlotte. Scored a season-high 14 points vs. Saint Louis on Feb. 23, going 2-for-2 from three-point range. Had a season-best seven assists at St. Bonaventure on Feb. 9, on vs. Duquesne on March 2 and vs. George Washington on March 6. Had 10 points and five assists in the Atlantic 10 Conference tournament first-round win over Rhode Island on March 12, including hitting two free throws with 0.3 seconds left in the 75-73 victory.

    2006-07: Played two minutes and had no points in Pepperdine's first game of the season at Washington on Nov. 12 before transferring to Charlotte.

    2005-06: Named to the West Coast Conference All-Freshman team and was tabbed as the WCC Freshman of the Year by CBSSportsLine. Averaged 14.1 points, 3.4 assists and 2.7 rebounds in 21 games. Reached double-figures in scoring in 17 of the 21 games, with four games of 20 or more points. Scored 19 points vs. Connecticut in his first collegiate game, adding four assists and three rebounds. Poured in a career-high 25 points in a 79-76 win vs. UC Irvine on Nov. 26, making 8 of 15 shots and 8 of 11 free throws. Suffered a foot injury which caused him to miss six games at the end of the season. Tried to play through the pain in the West Coast Conference tournament and had one point and two assists in 11 minutes in the 85-72 loss at San Diego on March 3. Ranked eighth in the WCC with 72 assists.

    HIGH SCHOOL: Gerrity played at played at high school power Mater Dei. As a senior, Gerrity was named Cal-Hi Sports CIF State Division II Player of the Year and CIF Southern Section Player of the Year after averaging 19.5 points, 5.5 assists and three steals per game. He finished his career as Mater Dei's all-time assists leader. During his four-year high school career, he helped lead Mater Dei to a 117-6 record, won three CIF Southern Section titles, two CIF Southern Division titles and one California state title. As a freshman, helped knock off No. 1 Oak Hill and its star Carmelo Anthony by scoring six points and dishing out nine assists in a team-high 29 minutes played.
