Jacobs Named To NABC District 20 Second Team|

USC junior guard Julian Jacobs was named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) 2015-16 All-District 20 second team it was announced on March 25.
Jacobs averaged 11.6 points, 5.5 assists and 4.9 rebounds per game this season, helping lead the Trojans to a 21-13 record and into the NCAA Tournament for the first time since the 2011 season. Jacobs led all Pac-12 players with 5.5 assists per game, was fifth with a 2.0 assist to turnover ratio and ninth in steals per game (1.2).
Jacobs showed his versatility by posting three different types of double-doubles this season, one with points and rebounds (12 points/10 rebounds at UC Santa Barbara on Dec. 3), one with rebounds and assists (11 rebounds/10 assists vs. CSUN on Nov. 23) and one with points and assists (10 points/13 assists vs. Cal Poly on Dec. 17). His 13 assists vs. Cal Poly are tied for fifth on USC’s all-time single-game list. He now has 398 career assists which ties him with Duane Cooper (1988-89, 1991-92) for third on USC’s all-time career assists list.
The athletic Jacobs also ranked second on the 2015-16 Trojans with 37 dunks, second in steals (38), third in scoring and third in rebounding.
