USC Adds Rakocevic To Men's Basketball Recruiting Class|

LOS ANGELES – Forward Nick Rakocevic has signed a National Letter of Intent (NLI) to play basketball for USC beginning with the 2016-17 season, it was announced by head coach Andy Enfield today (April 22).
“Nick’s size, versatility and work ethic will be extremely valuable to our roster moving forward,” said Enfield. “Nick and his team had an outstanding 2015-16 season and he was impressive with double-doubles in every game. We look forward to adding Nick to our team this summer where he will join his teammates in skill development and strength and conditioning programs.”
Rakocevic, a 6-10, 215- pound forward from St. Joseph in Westchester, Ill., averaged 19.8 points, 14.4 rebounds and 4.0 blocks per game as a senior. In St. Joseph’s 56-55 loss to Manual (Peoria) in overtime in the Class 3A third-place game to end Rakocevic’s prep career, he scored 26 points, had 13 rebounds, six blocks and four steals. Rakocevic posted a double-double in all of his 33 starts. As a junior, he led his team to the 3A Illinois state title.
USC previously announced the signing of CIF-SS Division I Player of the Year Jonah Mathews, CIF-SS Division III Player of the Year De’Anthony Melton and forward Harrison Henderson.
