Jovanovic Leads Pac-12 All-Stars To Win On China Tour

    USC sophomore Nikola Jovanovic scored 15 points to lead the Pac-12 All-Star team to a 73-47 win over the Chinese University All-Stars on Aug. 13 in Shanghai, China in the first game of a three-game goodwill tour in China.

    Jovanovic made 7 of 9 field goal attempts to lead the Pac-12 All-Star squad in scoring with 15, as three conference players tallied double figures in points. Jovanovic also had four rebounds and two steals in the game.

    The Pac-12 team had only three days of practice and led 29-26 at the half, but outscored the Chinese All-Stars by 13 points in the third quarter to put the game away. The Pac-12 team made 55 percent of its shots, while holding the Chinese team to 35 percent shooting.

    The Pac-12 All-Stars will be back in action on Aug. 15 when they play the Jiangsu Dragons, a Chinese professional team.
