Matt Barkley Wins Third Pac-12 Offensive Player Of Week Honor In 2011|

USC quarterback Matt Barkley was named the Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week, as well as the College Performance Awards National Performer of the Week and Quarterback of the Week for his record-setting performance at Colorado.
Barkley threw a school-record 6 touchdown passes in USC's 42-17 win over the Buffaloes. He completed 25-of-39 passes for 318 yards with one interception.
On the year, Barkley has completed 229-of-342 passes (67.0%) for 2,608 yards and 28 touchdowns. He ranks fourth on USC's career passing and total offense lists with 675 completions and 8,104 yards. Barkley is the only Trojan to have thrown at least five touchdowns four times in his career.
It is Barkley's third Pac-12 Player of the Week honor in 2011, having also done so for his Syracuse and Arizona outings, and the fourth such honor in his career.
Also honored by the Pac-12 this week as Players of the Week were Oregon rover Eddie Pleasant (defense) and Utah punter Sean Sellwood (special teams).
