USC junior wide receiver Nelson Agholor has been named one of 10 semifinalists for the Biletnikoff Award, given to the nation's top receiver, and he also was named the Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week and the College Football Performance Awards National Wide Receiver of the Week for his performance against California.

Agholor has 82 catches for 1,079 yards (13.2 average) with 10 TDs in 2014, and he has also returned 15 punts for a 13.1 average with 2 TDs and 9 kickoffs for a 16.3 average. He is second nationally in punt return TDs (2), third in receptions (8.2), eighth in reception TDs (10), 10th in both punt returns (13.1) and receiving yards (107.9) and 19th in all-purpose running (142.5).

Last Thursday (Nov. 13) in USC's 38-30 win over California in the Coliseum, Agholor had a career-best 16 receptions for 216 yards with two touchdowns. He had eight catches for 120 yards in the first quarter and 13 for 177 yards at halftime. The 16 receptions tied for the fourth most ever in a single game in the Pac-12. It was Agholor's second straight game with 200 yards receiving, after going for 220 yards last week at Washington State. It was the first time in a season that a Trojan has had a pair of 200-yard receiving games and the first time in USC history that a receiver has had consecutive 200-yard outings. It also tied Agholor with Keyshawn Johnson, Dwayne Jarrett, Robert Woods and Marqise Lee for the most 200-yard receiving games in a career with two.

He is 12th on USC's career receptions list (157) and seventh on USC's career punt returns chart (539 yards). He is the only Trojan to rank among USC's career Top 12 receivers and Top 7 punt returners. He is the 12th Trojan to have 2,000 receiving yards in a career. His 4 career punt returns for a touchdown is a USC career record (he has 2 scoring punt returns in each of the past 2 years).

Three finalists for the Biletnikoff Award will be announced on Nov. 24 and the winner will be announced live on ESPN's The Home Depot College Football Awards Show on Dec. 11.

Lee won the Biletnikoff Award in 2012 and is USC's only recipient of the award.
