Sophomore Jamie Lovemark, freshman Matthew Giles and junior Tom Glissmeyer all fired sub-70 rounds to lead the No. 7 USC men's golf team to fourth after the first day of the 18-team, 54-hole UH-Hilo Intercollegiate at the Waikoloa (Hawaii) G.C. on Wednesday (Feb. 6).

USC finished with a combined 6-under 274, three strokes behind leaders Arizona State and Texas Tech. Oregon State was third (273) while Stanford and Georgia Tech were tied for fifth (275).
