Suh 67 Leads Trojans In First Round Of Nike Golf Collegiate|

Sophomore Justin Suh, in his season-debut, fired a 3-under 67 to lead the USC men’s golf team in the first round of the Nike Golf Collegiate Invitational at the Colonia C.C. in Fort Worth, Texas, on Sunday (Oct. 2).
USC, in its second event this year, combined for a 3-over 283 to finish the first 18 holes in sixth, 10 back of Oklahoma’s 7-under 273 and eight back of Vanderbilt’s 5-under 275.
Suh finished the first night in a tie for third at 3-under 67, one back of a two-way tie for first. He posted birdies on 6, 7 and 11 without making a bogey today.
Junior Sean Crocker tied for 27th at 1-over 71 in a round that included five birdies. Senior Andrew Levitt tied for 34th at 2-over 72, senior Danny Ochoa, in his season debut, tied for 47th at 3-over 73 and senior Rico Hoey tied for 65th at 7-over 77.
USC will tee off at 8:45 a.m. on Monday in the second round, teeing off with Wake Forest and Texas.
