Crocker, Levitt Lead USC In Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate First Round

    Junior Sean Crocker and senior Andrew Levitt each carded 2-over 74s to pace the USC men’s golf team in the first round of the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate first round in Alpharetta, Ga., on Friday (Oct. 21).

    The Trojans combined for a first-round 11-over 299 and sit in 13th. Oklahoma leads the event at 5-under 283 while Duke is at 3-under 285.

    Crocker managed four birdies while Levitt had two to help them battle to their 74s, good for a tie for 30th.

    Sophomore Justin Suh is tied for 43rd at 3-over 75, senior Rico Hoey is tied for 63rd at 4-over 76 and freshman Cheng Jin is tied for 70th at 5-over 77.

    USC will begin the second round with Auburn and Texas at 6:05 a.m. PT on Saturday (Oct. 22).
