Crocker Named Pac-12 Golfer Of The Month For March|

USC sophomore Sean Crocker has been named the Pac-12 Men’s Golfer of the Month for March, the Pac-12 announced today.
Crocker, from Westlake Village, Calif., led the Trojans to the team title in the Southern Highlands Collegiate at the Southern Highlands C.C. in Las Vegas (March 7-9). He finished second with a 3-over 213 (70-68-75) to lead then-No. 4 USC to a four-stroke victory over No. 12 Florida, and 10 shots clear of No. 17 Oklahoma. The victory propelled the Trojans to the No. 1 ranking in Golfstat.
Crocker followed up with a 2-over 212 (73-69-70) to finish in a tie for 17th at The Goodwin at the Stanford G.C. (March 24-26).
Also nominated for golfer of the month honors were Philip Juel-Berg, Sr., COLORADO (finished ninth with a 1-under 209 to help CU to fourth-place finish at The Goodwin); Sulman Raza, Jr., OREGON (Five of nine rounds during March under 70. Third at the Southern Highlands Collegiate with a 2-under 214 and first at the Airstream Adventures NW Classic with a 10-under 206); David Boote, Sr., STANFORD (fifth-place finish a The Goodwin with a 4-under 206, including a second round 6-under 64); Frank Garber, Jr., WASHINGTON; Derek Bayley, So., WASHINGTON STATE (posted a 2-under 214 to finish tied for seventh at the Jouhn Burns Intercollegiate, one of six top-25 finishes this season).
Current Pac-12 teams ranked among the Top 25 in Golfstat include No. 1 USC, No. 5 Arizona State, No. 6 Stanford No. 13 California and No. 25 Washington. Among the Pac-12 teams ranked in the Golfweek Top 30 are No. 6 USC, No. 9 Stanford, No. 15 Arizona State, No. 19 California, No. 26 Oregon, No. 27 Washington.
The Pac-12 Men’s Golf Championships will take place April 29-May 1 at The Country Club in Salt Lake City, Utah.
