Sahyoun Earns Pac-12 All-Academic First Team Award|

Senior Ramsey Sahyoun earned All-Pac-12 first team honors while senior Sophia Popov was tabbed a second-team pick and sophomore Kyung Kim picked up an honorable mention award as the Pac-12 released its 2014 All-Academic teams.
Sahyoun, a second-team selection the past two seasons, earned first team honors with a 3.58 in business administration. He played in eight tournaments this season and finished with a stroke average of 76.64.
Popov, a 2014 WGCA All-American honorable mention pick and a 2014 All-Pac-12 first team pick, earned her third consecutive second-team academic award with a 3.53 in communications. She finished her senior year as USC's career leader in rounds in the 60s with 22 after six this season. She had four top 10 finishes and six in the top 13 and had 14 rounds of par or better. Her 72.71 career stroke average is second-best at USC for a four-year player.
Kim, a 2014 WGCA and All-Pac-12 team first team selection, is a first-time Pac-12 All-Academic pick (freshmen are not eligible) with a 3.49 in business administration. Kim broke USC's school record for rounds in the 60 this year with 11 and now has 17 for her career, second-most in program history. She also posted a career-best stroke average of 71.51, third-best in school history, and her 20 rounds of par or better were almost double her total from her freshman year. She won two events as a sophomore to give her three for her career and she had seven top 8 finishes with four in the top 4.
