No. 20 USC Men's Golf Set To Open Season At Kikkor Husky Invite

    The No. 20 USC men's golf team, which has advanced to the NCAA Championships final in each of the past seven years, begins the 2013-14 season at the Kikkor Husky Invite on Monday and Tuesday (Sept. 15-16) at the Gold Mountain G.C. Olympic Course.

    In addition to host Washington and USC, the 15-team field includes Arizona State, Brigham Young, UC Davis, Gonzaga, Oregon, Oregon State, Pacific, Pepperdine, St. Mary's, San Diego, San Diego State, USC, Utah, Washington and Washington State.

    The teams will play two rounds on Monday beginning at 7:30 a.m. and a final round Tuesday.

    USC, under eighth-year head coach Chris Zambri, is led by seniors Jeffrey Kang, a 2012 All-American, and Ramsey Sahyoun, as well as junior Anthony Paolucci.

    Joining the Trojans are a host of newcomers including junior Paul Smith, the younger brother of the recently graduated All-American Sam Smith, sophomore reserve Andrew Levitt, sophomore transfer Bobby Gojuangco and freshmen Rico Hoey, Danny Ochoa and Khaled Attieh.
